Our shipping cover is designed to protect your order from dispatch until delivery. Please review the terms below.
1. Authority to Leave (ATL) Waiver
By selecting the “Authority to Leave” (ATL) option with any carrier (domestic or international), you acknowledge and agree that:

Once the carrier confirms delivery to the specified address, the shipping cover does not apply to theft occurring after delivery.

ATL provides convenience but removes protection against post-delivery theft.
2. Shipping Cover Scope
Our shipping cover protects against:

Loss during transit

Damage occurring during shipping
If your package is lost by the carrier or arrives damaged, The Chef’s Edge may, at its discretion:

Issue a refund for the covered item(s)
Coverage applies from dispatch until confirmed delivery.
Please note: the shipping cover fee (if applicable) is non-refundable.

5. Exclusions
Shipping cover does not apply to:

Theft occurring after delivery when ATL is selected

Minor packaging damage that does not affect product function

Delays caused by carriers

Customs delays on international shipments
6. International Shipments
For international orders:

Shipping cover applies during transit until the shipment reaches the destination country.

Once the parcel is handed over to local customs authorities, responsibility may shift according to local regulations.
(Customs duties and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.)

Changes will not retroactively affect orders already placed.
